James Cameron’s Home Movies

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

panasonic3dhdWhile everyone is waiting for James Cameron’s Avatar, maybe with Panasonic’s new ”3D Full HD” camcorder, you can create your own masterpiece in 3D. The camera features two lenses that record two separate video tracks onto Panasonic’s proprietary P2 flash memory which should produce video that will work well with Panasonic’s recently announced 3D plasmas displays. While the picture to the left is just a concept photo from their NAB exhibit, Panasonic has announced they are starting ”development of a 3D Full HD Production System.”

Back to the Future License Plate

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

OUTATIMESince all true Back to the Future fans already have their DeLorean with a Flux Capacitor, there is just one thing missing. An Outatime, license plate. Just like the one on Doc Brown’s DeLorean! A great, full size, replica of the plate that Doc Brown left spinning in between two fire trails. Actually, that Einstein left spinning, since he was in the driver’s seat at the time.

Price: $29.99

“It was a dark night in October – October 25, 1985, to be exact. That was the day we discovered that time travel was possible. Doc Brown and me. When that DeLorean hit 88mph and all those blue lights started flashing, I knew we were on to something. And then – BAMMO – I was flying though the future. It was surreal. I was told later that I left behind trails of fire and the license plate. OUTATIME, the plate read. Oh, what a rush.”
