James Cameron’s Home Movies

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

panasonic3dhdWhile everyone is waiting for James Cameron’s Avatar, maybe with Panasonic’s new ”3D Full HD” camcorder, you can create your own masterpiece in 3D. The camera features two lenses that record two separate video tracks onto Panasonic’s proprietary P2 flash memory which should produce video that will work well with Panasonic’s recently announced 3D plasmas displays. While the picture to the left is just a concept photo from their NAB exhibit, Panasonic has announced they are starting ”development of a 3D Full HD Production System.”

startrekmuralI could be making jokes like; “Your Living room, the final frontier…”, but you and I both know that that has been done to death. So lets just all agree that if you can convince your significant other that this is a good idea, you are so ordering this mural.

This original Enterprise bridge Full Wall Mural is a 6×10 detachable skin that can stick and restick to walls without damaging the paint job.

Balance your Camera with 3-Axis Bubble Level

Friday, November 14th, 2008

Clever gadgets don’t just have to be high-tech. Even if you are at the level [pun intended] of Ansel Adams, most pictures are often a couple degrees off center. To help with this, Brando has made available a 3-Axis Bubble Level Cube that fits in any hot shoe mount. You can easily check every possible angle of your shot. For just $11 it would be hard to go wrong with this item.
