Glass Rubik’s Cube

Rubik-s-Glass

While this isn’t a real product, yet, designer IceBone has created a rendering of  what many are calling the best Rubik’s Cube ever. He said it took approximately 20 hours to render, using 3DStudio Max 6.0 and Mental Ray 3.2.6. Lets hope that some toy engineer somewhere can figure out how to make one in the real world.

Star Wars Action Figures: The Dark Side

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

From McMorran dot org:

The Planet Alderaan

The Planet Alderaan

It’s just a box of rocks…. yes, it’s the Planet Alderaan. Post-destruction, the play value of this toy was somewhat diminished.

Recreate the moisture farm massacre - Luke's aunt and uncle* killed by imperial stormtroopers all over again!!

Dead Ewok

Dead Ewok

We saw this poor wee creature mercilessly gunned down by Imperial Troops in Return of the Jedi. In a moving scene, his furry buddy tries to revive him, but alas, he has bitten the dust of Endor’s moon.

Even in death, Ewoks represent a lucrative opportunity to sell playthings to Earthling younglings. Or perhaps not.

The Force

The Force

It’s not an empty box. The force is an invisible energy, it surrounds us and binds the galaxy together.

So stop whingeing. It’s not an empty box, it’s the FORCE™, all right?? [Ed. Note: Kenner is now selling this same action figure in The Lost line of toys as "The Smoke Monster"]

Stickman Action Figure

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

Pose the Stickman in almost any pose on his warning sign base, and create your own warning signs. Make your office a ‘balance on one foot’ zone or the kitchen a ‘cartwheel zone.’ The fun is endless, as are the warning signs.

Price: $11.99
